Description:

This course is designed to inform students about who they are as citizens of the United States and how past events have shaped the world we live in today.

Goals:

Be able to describe the relationship of the past to the present using at least two examples from classroom work.

Be able to discuss orally with the class the social, political, and economic institutions that impact the students’ lives.

Requirements:

Students will be required to design and compose a collaborative project from any topic of their choice.

Evaluation:

Each week the students will receive a checklist of the work that will be completed. Students may work on work at their own pace, but the work and signed checklist will be submitted by Friday each week.
